IMPORTANT  The gateway is set by the ConnectBooster team. Any change requests should be submitted to payments@connectbooster.com.

What exactly is a gateway?

In a nutshell, it’s what gives your ConnectBooster portal the ability to take payments.

It’s a secure way of transmitting your end clients credit card/bank account data to the financial networks. It aides in the PCI compliance process, and without a gateway no credit card payments or E-Check (ACH) payments can take place.

A Gateway is tied to your merchant account.

Multiple gateways

Depending on how your portal is configured you may find that you have multiple gateways configured under your integrations (i.e., one for credit card and the other being used for E-Check (ACH) payments). These settings are managed by our support team and should not need to updated, but should you have any questions related to your gateway configurations, please submit a ticket through our Helpdesk.
